When Judy Byykkonen and the WIND (Women in New Directions) ladies get together for an outing, they’re always prepared to be out in the weather. On this adventure, they knew the wind would be making it colder, so Judy said they wore their “serious” winter jackets, so they could enjoy the beauty near Lake Superior. Judy did a great job capturing it all for us, showing the ice and snow that is still there on the shores of the Big Lake, along with the waves that day. I especially like the ice balls and the frozen trees. But the iced UP irons are pretty amazing, too.

You can see the waves in action in Judy’s video and you can almost feel the cold wind whipping around you. Turn UP the volume for the full effect!

These are such great pictures of the lake in "the
spring". I really am tired of this white stuff but
these photographers make it enjoyable. And I
really don't know how they can go out in such
frigid weather. But I'm glad they do.

I second the above and I hope you had a nice cup of hot coffee (and

Baileys) when you got home.

Encouraging pics & video today, Spring/Summer is
almost here!! lol

Warm here today in S.E. MI and I can't wait to get
the RV on the road and start traveling.

Colonoscopy tomorrow, prep starting shortly. :=(

UC…stock up on TP. I used a little Neosporin to help ease the rash

pain that develops after a while. And if you run out of TP then start

ripping up undershirts and if you run out of undershirts then start

ripping up curtains and if you run out of curtains then start

dragging your butt along the carpet like the dog does. And if the

Queen complains then there’s always the lawn.

LMAO!!!

By Alex "UP-Goldwinger" (Alex) on Monday, April 3, 2023 - 05:13 pm:

Seriously…I hope the procedure goes well. I had it done about ten

years ago and next time I’m using Cologuard. I wish you the best!

I've had 3 colonoscopies. The last one used a gallon of whatever that prep drink was. Comparatively, it was not too bad at all.

By Deb S. (Usedtobeayooper) on Tuesday, April 4, 2023 - 10:14 am:

I've had 3 also. The procedure itself is a piece
of cake. The prep not so much.
