The Pasty Cam
Week of March 29 - April 4, 1998
Downtown Houghton... Antiques... Red Cole with the actual parlor stove which belonged to George Gipp. And yes... it's for sale.
if your interested. Buy one from the Gipper, eh?)
Just before sunrise this morning... off the point at Eagle River. Like old friends the 1000 footers are back again. Clear skies today.
(another view from the webmaster's bedroom window.. see March 29 below)
The remaining snow is doing a disappearing act this week. Bye-bye says the Country Haus waitress in Kearsarge.
(Pasty Cam passes this way every morning)
Do you know what "raha" means in Finn? And can you guess where the Pasty Cam sees this?
(hint: near Negaunee)
Happy April Fool's Day
for some answers

(looking down Pine Street from Sixth in Calumet)
Along Five Mile Point Road, typical of the melting Lake Superior Shoreline... normally ice covered to a good distance this time of year.
(El Nino strikes again!)
After a week of rain and fog in our area, the Pasty Cam enjoyed a clear view of last night's (Saturday) sunset over Superior. This morning we awoke to the singing of birds.
