Last night's sunset will undoubtedly be remembered as the last of the '00-'01 Winter.  Today a warm rain is falling across the U.P.

Spring has truly arrived in the U.P., with temps expected to hit 60 this weekend... though snow is still on the ground.

Any Forestry majors among our Cam Watchers?  Maybe you could identify this tree in the Keweenaw woods, which appears to have a little accelerated depreciation....


...just in time for tax season.

Wednesday, April 4

Early today a friendly fawn appeared cozy, tucked in against our house by the back steps.  The click of the Pasty Cam interrupted his morning meditation... and he was soon on his feet, ready to put some space between himself and his observer....


...but not before the Cam grabbed the action.
