Outstanding bird photos just keep rolling in lately. This trio today comes from three different photographers, starting with Fred Koski, who is the guy behind the camera at Fred Koski Photography. He snapped a great shot of a Purple Finch. You know I’ve never quite understood the name being “purple” as it so obviously seems reddish in color, not purple, but whatever the name, it’s a pretty little finch.
The next shot is a Common Redpoll that Chris Hendra captured recently. The red cap on this little bird always makes me think of the Stormy Kromer hats for some reason. Maybe they could use a redpoll as their mascot! You can see more of photos from Chris on his Facebook page here: Chris Hendra Photography
Jean Dessellier spotted this majestic beauty in the Traprock Valley recently and had her camera in hand to snap a shot of that Eagle looking quite serious and ready to pounce if something for dinner came along.
Today’s video from Case Country Farm in Chatham caught my eye, because I love pigs, so I couldn’t resist not sharing this cute little Polka Dot Piggies Pile. It’s piglet time at their farm! Beautiful photos!
When we lived in Red Jacket, we had lots of redpolls and many other kinds of birds visit the feeder in our back yard.

I just love bird pictures. There's a man
from the Munising area who is always posting
gorgeous pictures of the birds around his
yard. He must not be in pasty though.
Anyway, thanks for sharing these.
The cutest little piglets ever in that
video. Poor momma.
