Spring must be just around the corner, the Eagle River Falls are beginning to run again. Debbie Jarve went for a ride on a sunny day last week and snapped these shots to prove it! It’s neat how it thaws out in patches and spots like that, with gushing water underneath the snow and ice covering the majority of the falls area. And check out the tracks in the snow... someone mentioned they thought those were weasel/mink tracks. Makes me wonder if they were looking for a drink or maybe just exploring. Debbie’s bottom photo is always a favorite, too, the timber arch bridge in Eagle River. It’s a beauty and so high up, over Eagle River. You can see the thaw happening below the bridge, too. Soon, people, soon!

Debbie also recorded a video so not only can you see the water running, but hear it roaring, too. Before you know it, the water will be running strong there!

bridge. I probably have as many
pictures of that as I do the
falls. Spring is almost here.

Is that interesting...it does get louder!

The first thing I noticed was the tracks in that
first pic...I don't know who or what...but looking
up "what walks in a straight line"..says it could
be a fox or coyote or bobcat?? Don't know...but
cool pics...soon that'll be packed up there.
Remember when there was that little tree in the
middle of the falls up top??
