George C. Bailey has done it again and it never gets old. No matter how many times you see his photos of anything over Lake Superior, they mesmerize you. These shots with the clouds and the sun shining onto them, are so amazing, you almost miss that there’s a freighter out there on the Big Lake. The colors are outstanding and the clouds are other-worldly with what looks like layers of sky. Well done, Mr. Bailey!

When you take M-26 from Phoenix to Eagle River, you may miss the Ten Foot Falls, unless you are specifically looking for them. Jeff Dennis recently found them and made this unique video clip with a slow-motion of the falls in action, too. If you’re looking for them, follow these directions: Turn left on M-26 from US-41, in Phoenix, and drive .8 miles before parking on the shoulder. Falls are visible from the roadside.
