As if it wasn’t a bonus enough to be heading out for “after dinner” ice cream, Chad Johnson also captured these shots of a double rainbow over Torch Lake. Vivid colors like that make it double the pleasure, or maybe that would be triple the pleasure, since it’s a double rainbow already and then adding ice cream on top of it. I sure hope they at least got a double scoop of ice cream wherever they were headed for their after dinner treat!

In The Keweenaw didn’t capture the rainbow that day, but they did bring us a treat of a beautiful Keweenaw morning over Hancock and the Portage Canal. Peaceful and calming way to start the day!

Loved the music in the video, I wish I knew
who played it. YouTube used to advise the
musical artists, but I haven’t seen any lately.
It probably requires a subscription.

Genesis 9:13-15

I do set My (rain)bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between Me and the earth. I couldn't talk Marty into buying a small travel
trailer, but he did book his motel for the first
full week of August. Glad my pal will be
continuing our tradition.
