Part 2 of the Keweenaw tour with Deb Simons and her hubby Ron, takes us to another of my favorite spots, Esrey Park, north of Eagle Harbor. Those Snow-capped rocks sure make for a beautiful view, yet remind us that even though the temperatures have been unseasonably warm, it’s still only March and winter is hanging on with snow in places like this. Deb said it was windy and chilly here on the west side of Lake Superior, which explains why the snow is still topping the rocks. She also said it doesn’t matter for her, what side of Lake Superior she visits, there’s just something about the Big Lake for her, that makes her feel like she’s in Heaven. I’d say that Deb really loves Lake Superior and being on its shoreline makes her day complete. This Lake mesmerizes many folks and keeps bringing them back, no matter how far away they’ve traveled.

We join The Woodsy Introverts for a Review of Winter – Morning Ritual in which they look at winter's cozy moments along with a sweet surprise from nature. They share different moments from the past few winter months and talk about the strange phenomenon that nature surprised us with this winter. So spend some time (just over 14 minutes) in nature with Lisa and Randy, having coffee and enjoying nature's abundance, while taking a few nature walks.

Esrey Park used to be a must stop....Loved looking
at Paul Bunyan's foot print.

Thanks for sharing these, Mary. We
picked the perfect day to go for a
ride because it hasn't been nice
since. And yes, even when I lived
away from everybody and would come
to visit, the lake is what drew
me. I missed it so much. Now I get
to see it whenever I want. And I
always want. Well, when it's nice
out, anyway.

Welcome to the tropics!
Nice set, Deb…I figured those were your pix
right away, because I know how much you
love that place. It was always a must-stop
for me too when I was cruising M-26 on the
Wing…thanks for the memories!
Nice video, but a little jumpy and
confusing at times. I love the Shepherds.

Another beautiful day - at Esrey Park this time! Everyone who knows Esrey Park smiled when they saw The Tree. Thanks Deb!
