So far this week we’ve visited McLain State Park (Monday), Great Sand Bay (Tuesday) and today, Debbie Jarve is taking us to Calumet Waterworks Park. We’ve got a good start for a Lake Superior shoreline week going right now. The sky over Bucky’s this day was gorgeous with the bright blue and the fluffy white clouds, but don’t let that fool you... with the wind blowing enough to make waves on the Big Lake, you know it was cold standing there, taking in that view. Debbie described it as a freezing wind and some else commented that it was a nasty, damp wind, too. Here again, though, lets appreciate the beauty of the scenes, especially since sitting here in front of your laptop or your phone, we’re most likely toasty warm.
Steve Brimm is back with us today again, this time he’s bringing something to us to help calm our morning jitters. It’s nice to hear the running water... a sign that spring can’t be too far off.

The pictures are beautiful, and the blue skies do help. Plus, as Mary said, it's nice to see them on a computer screen from my warm house. When I got up this morning and saw my deck rails completely covered in ice, I knew I had the best seat in the house for looking at the views that other people brave the elements to see. Thanks to the pasty cammists who do that during the coldest months of the year.

Hi Why did the tom cross the road? Because it's too far to walk around.
