We can thank Barbara Bouwkamp today, for reminding us of the beauty that surrounds us here in the Copper Country. I know I’ve said it before, but those of us who live here in “God’s Country”, often take it for granted, not noticing the glorious sights we see most days, so these visual reminders are great to make us slow down and take notice.
From the beauty of a sunrise walk with Willow, to the simple joy of a log in the slough, where sometimes you’ll spot a turtle hanging out, to a reflection of a tree that’s been hanging on with an exposed root system from previous storms buffeting it, to a peaceful reflection of a blue sky, dotted with clouds. It doesn’t get any better than this.
To cap off the appreciation of the beauty here today, we join Steve Brimm over at Steve Brimm Photography for a little solace from the shores of Lake Superior. Turn up the volume to hear the solace, too.
