It’s that time again, another month gone by and we pause in a long standing tradition here on the Pasty Cam, to recall those that have left us too soon. Today we remember:

Robert “Bob” Belopavolich
Gary Cote
Julia Dennis
Barbara Mae King
Kathryn “Kay” Moore
Jill Nisula
Bequita Parks
Benjamin “Ben” Rendel, Jr
Robert "Bob" Sakkinen.
Innocent victims of war in the current conflict
Servicemen and women and
Frontline workers who have given their all

We extend our deepest sympathy to those who have lost someone near and dear to them. If you’re a long time visitor here, you may remember MsKatie (Kathryn “Kay” Moore), who used to be a regular on these pages. May she and all of these folks Rest in Perfect Peace.

We invite you to add the names of those you would like to remember.
Special thanks to Brian Rendel for the beautiful sunset photo in memory of his Dad, Benjamin “Ben” Rendel, Jr.

Thanks for the beautiful sunset in memory of your father, Brian.

March has been a month of many sad passings for our family, the greatest of which was my Dad. Still miss him after nearly 40 years. Praying for peace to all who mourn today.

was always a sweetheart.

Beautiful photo for the remembrance page. We
lost another classmate in Bob Belo. Such a
loss as he was one of the nicest. But I'm
sure he's happier joining his wife.

And then there's MsKatie. She made us laugh.
We went down to visit her in Illinois one
weekend. We took her out to dinner and she
just spilled all over herself. She made a
joke of it as she was always doing that.
Called herself a slob, lol. And we met her
in St. Ignace one year for a couple of days.
She was a fun lady. And she spilled all over
herself. We went to the dunes to swim. A
wave caught Kay off guard and into the water
she went. Everybody was laughing, even Kay.
Great memories. May she RIP.

Condolences to anybody who has a loved one
on this list.

Bob Belo, what a trooper. What a guy....And Jill
Nisula....Pure magic with all those flowers at
Nisula's Greenhouse in Ripley. (Remember?) I won a
bouquet a month for a year from them....I got to
spend some time with Jill and Pete. Fantastic
people.

We are losing our good folks....and then there's
Ukraine. Get a sunflower in solidarity. We stand
with Ukraine.

"MAY THE ROAD RISE UP TO MEET YOU.
MAY THE WIND BE ALWAYS AT YOUR BACK.
MAY THE SUN SHINE WARM UPON YOUR FACE,
THE RAINS FALL SOFT UPON YOUR FIELDS,
AND, UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN, MAY GOD HOLD YOU
IN THE PALM OF HIS HAND."
