Marcy Bessolo Hermanson figured with the extra hour of daylight in the Keweenaw evenings now, it’s a good time to head UP North and chase the setting sun. She found it at Esrey Park on M-26 and snapped some beauties as the sun was going down. Pictures like these are a good reminder that we should slow life down and enjoy the simple pleasures that surround us all, especially here in the Keweenaw.
We have a different type of video today, from Brita Haapala over at Copper Country Captures. Different because the scene is a sunset, but you have to turn your speakers up and really listen for the main gist of the video...it’s a full moon evening and the coyotes are howling up a storm!

Beautiful scenery. The video reminded me of our home in MN. The coyotes were always yelling like that.
