Judy Byykkonen and her “girls” love summer at the Big Lake. Who am I kidding, Judy loves the shores of Lake Superior no matter the season, but there really is something special about this Lake in the summer. It’s so clear, although mostly cool, yet refreshing at the same time. Not to mention the views...today’s shots were snapped at Calumet Waterworks Park, a.k.a Bucky’s and it soothes the soul from the stairway to the beach, to the sun beginning to set. Judy always manages to find some interesting shots, like the greenery growing out of a weather log or tree trunk and then of course there’s her “girl” Zelda fetching a stick from Lake Superior and loving every minute of it. It doesn’t get much better than this!
