This time of year in the Keweenaw is one of reawakening with Apple Blossoms and Lilacs filling the air with beautiful scents and colorful sights. Judy Byykkonen captured some of both recently to share with us here, only she forgot to include the “scratch and sniff”, so our sense of smell would be rewarded, too. These flower trees and bushes, along with crab apples and a few others are so beautiful, I just wish they could flower like this all year long.
Today’s video will make the apple blossoms last for years, if you bookmark the video link and watch it whenever you need some beauty from nature.

I lived in a place once that had an apple orchard in the back yard. I'd sit out there just to smell it. You ain't lived till you've been able to smell God's perfume!!

Just beautiful! Have never seen that variety of lilacs - it almost looks like crabapples.

Oops...Jbuck, you are absolutely correct. Those are crabapple blossoms. I had Lilacs on the mind, since they are blooming and my favorite. Thanks for catching my goof! :-)
