Here we are again, at the end of another month. We take this last day each month to remember and honor those that have passed on before us:

In memory of my dad, Bob Laughlin, who passed away
10 years ago, on April 14, 2011. Our family had a
lot of good times up north. I remember his high-
pitched cries of self-encouragement when running
into icy cold Lake Huron. He loved driving
the boat around Lake Huron and the Straits of
Mackinac. He and my mom enjoyed camping trips to
the UP with two other couples. Bay Furnace near
Munising was a favorite.

In memory of my K-9 boxer Dottie, who went to be with God in
April 2018.

Does anyone know if that is that the same "David
Hiltunen" who used to frequently post in the past?

Remembering our parents Norman and Helen Pooley, Ed and Sophie Kuusisto, Aunt Lyle Pooley, our sister in law and dear friend Phyllis Kuusisto, Karen Kuusisto, Janet Trasti, Selma Kuusisto, Auntie Eva Lahti, our cousin Eva Kuusisto, our good buddy Nitz Kumpula, our nephews “The Chief” Churchill and Charlie Churchill, our sweet niece Rosie Churchill, Our niece Bailey Hartmann, our brother in law and friend Wayne Hartmann our sister and best friend Flo Hartmann and our dear sweet baby girls Annie and Molly Kuusisto. And our dear sweet friend, Jamie. We love and miss you all so much.

Yes, Alex. That is the Pasty Cam David Hiltunen who was a regular here on the Pasty Cam a few years back. RIP David....

Yes that is my second cousin David Hiltunen who posted regularly in the past. He and RCW and my dad Doug Hiltunen were all first cousins, among others who posted lots of interesting history and memories of the past.! The old guard are passing. Also condolences and fond memories going out to the families of Greg Davis and Jack Poritt. You all will be misssed!!!!
