You always hear about the many “faces” of Lake Superior, meaning all of the Big Lake’s moods. The ice that forms on and along the shores, has many shapes and forms, like Lady Superior’s moods. Beth Jukuri and her granddaughter were exploring the ice in Keweenaw Bay. She said she loves the way the ice is formed and that they had fun looking at all the formations. Looks like her granddaughter had a Superior time stepping in and around the floes near shore, too.
Todd Levitt recorded this video just a couple days ago in the Marquette area. Same kind of ice floes, only bigger, bobbing along as the sun helps them melt away in Superior’s waters.

My first thought was "Are there warm dry clothes in the car for the kid?"

Little butter and maple syrup for those waffled ice and it's breakfast time..... although these days it's sugar free syrup for me! ;-)

Sugar-free, gah! I have two suggestions. First, put fruit on your waffles. Second, use real maple syrup every once in a while.
