Fred, over at Fred Koski Photography has a knack for capturing critters and today’s collection of photos showcase that talent. We start off with the Crocus photo. These little beauties shout out that Spring has sprung.
The remaining shots are fun with the crocuses and the critters, namely a Bluejay and a Chipmunk. And lastly the bear with a mouthful. Fred says he was about 40 yards away from that bear when he snapped this shot, but with the magic of camera lenses, it looks like he could have reached out and petted him.
Since were on kind of a critter theme here today, this video fits right in, as it is all about bees and how you “hive” them in the Spring, so they will work together in the colony and produce delicious, pure honey. Melissa Hronkin is the beekeeper and shares her knowledge of beekeeping with us.

Honey bees are our friends (but watch out for the Africanized bees) . They make honey & pollinate crops. The sting? They only defend themselves-just like we do.
