Sharon Bodenus is often in the right place at the right time, to snap the beauty that surrounds us, but other times she deliberately goes to a spot and waits for that right time to happen. The following is what she had to say about the day she took these beauties:
Can I tell you just how good this was for my soul to stand in this place at predawn? To feel the wind on my face and the beautiful sounds of the birds as they flew over the lake. No one around but my husband who was with waiting in the truck. My camera and tripod in hand feeling like nothing else mattered and it was just me and this beautiful thing called, NATURE... created by God for our eyes to take in and allow the beauty to comfort our souls.
I don’t know about you, but yes, Sharon, I can tell how good this was for your soul and how good just the photos and your words about them are for mine. Thank you for capturing it and sharing with us all.
We didn’t get to hear those calming sounds that Sharon did, but hopefully this video from Cathy McKenzie will have the same peaceful and calming effect for you all. In the little town of Ahmeek, Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church bells ringing out, ‘America the Beautiful’.
