Barbara Bouwkamp said that she and her husband went out to Big Traverse to check out the snow situation at their camp recently and they brought their black lab along for the event. Parker was having nothing to do with jumping up that snowbank, so Tom shoveled some steps for him to get up there, while Barbara and Tom snowshoed their way. In the next photo, you can see that Parker had had enough and was just staying put while his crazy people traipsed through the snow around the camp to check what winter had done. Smart doggie!

Today’s video treat was filmed a few years back, but shows a couple of Basset Hounds running and bounding through a few inches of fresh snow. Check out how those big ears flop up and down and even disappear in one slow motion shot. Fun stuff...
