When Stacey Flood spotted these cotton candy clouds in the Keweenaw sky this past week, she grabbed her camera just in time to snap them up. She said they were really cool and were changing very quickly, so it’s a good thing she didn’t hesitate getting her camera or they would have been gone. Pretty amazing color and puffy looking clouds like cotton balls in the sky! Another one of those, being in the right place at the right time moments. Thank goodness Stacey had her camera nearby.
Now we’re joining Alexis Dahl and her hubby, Mr. Dahl on their Journey to the Eben Ice Caves. Alexis introduces the video saying: “Hidden in the forests of the Upper Peninsula is a magical place you can only see in the winter, that changes a bit every day. People have been recommending for years that I head out to Eben Ice Caves (more officially known as the Rock River Canyon Ice Caves), and this was finally the winter I made it happen!” Alexis actually pronounced Eben incorrectly in the video and explains that folks let her know she did. She related that she had gotten the pronunciation from a Michigan.gov pronunciation guide. So she emailed the state to update their guide, to which they responded that they recognize the error in the pronunciation and are working to see if they can update their online guide. In the meantime, Alexis says, “pardon my troll pronunciation”.

D. A. (Midwested), Do you have Meijers stores there? Our Meijers sell dry ice. Sounds like a great trip!
