906 Images description of today’s photos is perfect...“Upper Michigan is breathtakingly beautiful, a true winter wonderland”. I absolutely love the reflections in the open water and the way the photos go from a closer look at a little red sauna on the shore, to a wide expanse with a view of another place on the icy edge. And then there’s the snow-cover blanketing the trees, all along the Dead River in Negaunee Township...simply stunning!

We wrap up today with a video from 906 Images with another perfect description: “Close ups of some Lake Superior waves. One day it has 11' waves, the next day it's forming ice. This lake just amazes me!!” The Big Lake definitely has many moods and thankfully there are folks like 906 Images that capture them to share with us all.

I agree that these are beautiful. In that first
picture of the sauna, it looks like the people
wouldn't need to plunge in to the lake: just roll
down the steps, the snow is deep enough.

These are stunning, though. My
