When Barbara Bouwkamp was out and about exploring for fall foliage, she came upon this little cabin and her first thought was that the siding actually matches the fall colors in the background, so she had to snap a photo to share. What a fun observation!
Barbara’s remaining photos are of the bounty of grapes she gets on her vines this time of year. Beautiful orbs of purple that she makes into juice. Someone suggested she make wine, but Barbara said that’s too complicated, so she’ll stick to harvesting the grapes for some fresh juice.
Now we join Landon Brocato for his three day journey through the U.P. as the fall foliage began to flourish. He starts in the Ironwood area, heads to the Porcupine Mountains, Bond Falls, Munising Falls and Miners Falls. Of course the Keweenaw is on his list and we’ll have to forgive him for his pronunciation of Houghton and Keweenaw as the scenery he captured makes UP for that. He finishes his trip at the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore and a beautiful sunset on Lake Superior. Sit back and enjoy! (opens new window in YouTube)

I love that first picture. So cool. And those grapes look so darn good. Some jelly sounds good to me.

Pix sweeter than wine. I heard this through the grapevine. I’d make it fine, but not too quick. . Press’n my grapes to some foot-stomp’n music.

My brother has grapes...he gave some to sis and she's making juice now. Bro is making Wine. His buddy gave him some grape starts a few years ago and they have proliferated greatly. He and his bud make lots of wine....I mean lots...they are still drinking last year's batch!!
I like those hexagons on that lil cabin. Way cool.
