It looks like fall is beginning here in the Keweenaw. Barbara Bouwkamp found these beautifully, colored leaves already fallen to the ground and snapped up several photos. I do love fall and the colored leaves, but I’m just not sure I’m quite ready for the fall season, partly because it’s so short and partly because I’m not ready for what comes after this season. I guess it doesn’t matter if I’m ready or not, though, because it’s coming sooner, than later. Let’s hope for an extended fall season here UP North. I do love the colors that the
maple leaf turns into. But like
Mary, I'm not nearly ready. These
leaves really are beautiful,
though.

Yesterday and today's pics and videos were great!
I knew about the baseball mud, but never knew the
depth of the story.
I liked the rocks story, but
being forced to look for agates and pick
berries when you're a young kid and you just
want to do fun things with your cousins when
you're up north, wasn't my idea of a good time.

Yesterday- Jbuck, if it was open, I drove it.
Never backed down, I could tell you stories on
those trips back down state during my college days
that were just insane. lol "Charles, the speed
limit is 55mph out here normally, it's snowing so
hard that a safe speed is barely 40 mph, I got you
at 70 mph, what's your hurry?" lol true story.

Alex, I was thinking of the exact same tune when I
saw the pics today!! Heard an old Rockets tune
today, Alex, made me think of you, "Feel alright"

Deb/Mary, I love Fall too, but I'm not quite ready
either.
