When the winds are howling in the Keweenaw, the Big Lake gets to rocking and rolling, sending major wave action to the shoreline of Lake Superior. Mandy Cadwell took a ride to Superior’s shores to check out the action recently and was not disappointed. The sky was dotted with clouds and the setting sun coloring the horizon added some outstanding beauty to the scenes, highlighting what makes this Great Lake something special. How lucky we are to have Lake Superior right here in our backyard.
