Always something interesting along the Harbor waters in Marquette. Laurie Bashaw snapped some photos of boats docked along the Lower Harbor recently, starting with a U. S. Coast Guard boat with what looks like several personnel on board. Then Laurie captured shots of the Missouri Tug and the Kimberly Joy Tug. She said she wasn’t sure what they were doing in town, but maybe one of our “resident boat nerds” can fill us in if they know their itinerary. Neat to see them close up like this, rather than just passing by out on the Big Lake. Then finally, the sailboats on land, still wrapped in the protective shrink wrap, just waiting to get back in the water for the summer months. We’re waiting, too...come on summer!

All that bird's eye maple stuff he makes is just
phenomenal. AND, Bird's eye maple is only in the
U.P.
Those rockers are unreal...just fabulous...I wish I
were rich!
