For some reason I don’t think about Auroras in the fall as much as the summer, but we recently had some beautiful sky lights that I would have missed completely if it wasn’t for George C. Bailey capturing these shots on the north shore of the Keweenaw Peninsula overlooking Lake Superior. That third shot is neat with a freighter about a mile out and the other probably about six miles. And check out the Milky Way in the bottom photo. So much going on in these shots, besides the beauty of the Northern Lights.

We join the Lovenesters on their Lake Superior Circle Tour, with their “Best of the Keweenaw Peninsula” portion. They start the day in Houghton and explore all the way to Copper Harbor, taking in some of the best waterfalls and regional favorites. They share what they learned about the copper industry, exploring the Quincy Mine and the Delaware Mine, plus some exploration in the city of Calumet.

Are they "edited"? You know..changing the colors in
the camera? I've had cameras that did that...and
the pics are phenomenal. These remind me of that.

Finally had a chance to view the video
and loved it. Saw many roads that I used
to cruise on the Wing. Oh the memories.
