When Laurie Bashaw posted these Lake Superior photos recently, she added that she loves this lake! I’m right there with her, there’s something about the Big Lake, no matter if she’s angry and crashing against the rocks like today’s photo array or if she’s calm and peaceful, it draws you in and mesmerizes you. Laurie’s husband Ed, described this day as Lady Superior throwing a tantrum. I love that description!

On a different day and a different shoreline, Deb Simons captured Lake Superior rocking and rolling at the Devil’s Washtub near Copper Harbor. Make sure your sound is turned up so you can hear her roar and splash around in the washtub, too!

As always, awesome pictures of the lake we
all love so much. She's probably the big
reason most of us stay here. I just love
this lake. We've had so much fun spending
time in it these super hot days of
September. It felt so refreshing.

Mother Superior was really rocking the day
we were at the washtub too. My granddaughter
had never seen this spot. I had to move away
from the edge because the wind was blowing
me all over. You always have to show her the
respect she deserves because you never know.
