I’ve probably mentioned this a number of times, but I’ll say it here again, E. Neil Harri has one of the best views in the Keweenaw. His home looks out over Eagle Harbor waters, right to the Lighthouse across the harbor there. On the day Neil snapped these shots, the sun was illuminating the Lighthouse and campus grounds quite nicely. Sunshine is always a welcome sight in November, especially after days and days of snowfall.
Neil said his second shot shows the contrails in the sky, left by planes filled with folks going all over the world for some reason or another. He explained that contrails are ice crystals being vaporized through a jet engine and it was mentioned that it could be flights to Canada, to which Neil replied that flights to the Far East go over us, too. Interesting tidbits of information!
Neil also shares a video of the Eagle River Falls from a little earlier in November. The water was flowing pretty well and we had some snow, not as much as we do now, though and you can see flakes in the air that day.

It would be great to have to have Neil's
view, that's for sure. But at least he
shares his views with us.
The falls look great.
