It’s not that often that the waters around the Keweenaw are still and peaceful like the shots here today from Debbie Jarve over at Debbie Jarve Photography. Seems we usually have some winds making ripples or waves, but this day the water on the Portage Canal was as still as could be, creating “double your pleasure” kind of scenes with the reflections. Another of those being in the “right place” instance and then taking the time to appreciate and capture that “right place”.
Debbie’s third photo with the red/orange leaf just lying on the step, is so simple, yet so pretty. These simple things are really the big things in life...enjoy each and every one of them.
