We can thank Debbie Jarve for today’s beautiful bouquet of flowers. As the nights get colder and the mornings dewier, it won’t be too long before frost arrives and the flowers will be done for this year. So we must enjoy them while we can. What a colorful array Debbie has provided for us here today. I was thinking what a great idea it would be to have photos like this in a collage on your wall for those long stretches of cold, winter days. Then you could gaze at the color once again and that would help get you through the wintry weather. For more of Debbie’s beautiful photos click here: Debbie Jarve Photography

Rob over at Michigan Rocks is taking us on a short tour of the A.E. Seaman Mineral Museum today. According to Capt. Paul ...”the person to thank for such a wonderful display as this museum, is Dr. George Robinson. He was the curator at the time, who knew what he wanted to see in a mineral museum when it was moved from campus to its current location. It truly is one of the premier mineral museums in the world and a must see when visiting the Keweenaw.”

Thanks Debbie! These shots are certainly a day brightener. The daffodils are the promise of Spring after a long Winter - and a favorite. Tho Autumn is my favorite season, Spring has it's positive points.

Wish we could get to the museum - it looks fantastic!
