Nancy Haun’s photos here today, remind me of a mystery movie, with the Canadian National train emerging from the thick fog in Summit and then less than a minute later disappearing out of sight again into the fog. You can’t see the end of the train in the first shot or how many cars there will be, then after it passes by, you lose the engine as it enters back into the fog. Fascinating how weather can change the look and feel of a photo.
Nancy said that the incredible fog makes for an interesting video and she is absolutely right about that. Her video here is a bit longer at just over 14 minutes, but her commentary about the tracks, the Summit line shack and then the train coming out of the fog as it rolls on by her make it time well spent.

Some people get up, go to the window and shout, "Good Morning, Lord." Others pull the sheet over their heads and say, "Good Lord, its Morning." Nancy is a member of the second group!
