We get a Copper Harbor springtime report from Steve Brimm, the cameraman over at Steve Brimm Photography. Yes, you read that right, these are recent “springtime” photos he’s snapped, all in this beautiful, snowy month of April so far. Steve’s descriptions of his photos cannot be improved upon, so I’m sharing them in his own words:
#1 - Little chunks, alongside bigger chunks of lake ice, paraded to and fro on yesterday’s seiches. As I was set up shooting some long video, I had time on my hands so started giving out ratings of 1-10 to the passing mini bergs. When this one floated by, I just declared it the winner in all categories.
#2 - Zoom in! Even these two Canada Geese are giving me the stink eye!
#3 - April’s like, I got yer Christmas card.
And then Steve goes underwater for a look at the Copper Harbor iceberg migration season. You just never know what’s lurking below the surface of Lake Superior.
