It was perfect snowshoeing weather recently, so Brooke Gubacz headed to the Baraga plains for some snowshoeing on the North country trail. With the sunshine and snow covering on the trees, I’d have to say she made a great choice. I especially love the two shots looking up at the tall trees surrounding her with all the branches holding on to the snow that had fallen. Sure makes for a magical scene all bright and white. You can just imagine the quiet there in the midst of the woods, with the snow insulating everything around them. Just beautiful!
We’re going snowshoeing with Steve Brimm too. Doing what he calls the North Country Shuffle. I love that it’s in slow motion so you can see the snow spreading out before his snowshoes with each step and then you get to see the great white expanse ahead of him at the end.
