She’s at it again, Beth Jukuri takes us on her morning drive for work, stopping to capture the quiet beauty of the early morning scenes on the country roads she travels. From a snow covered driveway, to the snow just beginning to surround a pond on the side of the road, to the white that kisses the weeds lining the banks, it looks like winter has begun even though the calendar says it doesn’t start for a few more weeks. There is definitely something calming about the peaceful arrival of snow, it brightens things up and brings a quiet with it, too. It can also mean that life may slow down it’s pace just a bit for some folks, from the busy summer months. That is until we get enough snow to get out and enjoy snowshoeing, skiing, sledding and all the other winter activities.
Frances Czapski from Photography by Frances, shares a snowy sunrise on Lake Superior’s Whitefish Bay to complete our Thanksgiving Pasty Cam post. Enjoy the beauty and pause to reflect on the things you’re thankful for today.
Happy Thanksgiving
