You might say that Judy Byykkonen is quite the adventurer. She’s always off on some excursion in the beauty of the Copper Country. Today she takes us to the Houghton waterfront on a calm evening paddle, so calm that we’re treated with reflections in the still water. Those first two shots of the Weeping willow tree are just glowing, both on the land and in the water. Beautiful!
Judy’s last two photos are reflections also, just not quite as clear, looking over at the Hancock shoreline and then a peaceful view of the Portage Lake Lift Bridge. Looks like the sun had already set, with lights on both shorelines glimmering. Peaceful…
To round out the day, we’re joining Five Aces Media for their video look at September in the U.P. of Michigan. Enjoy!

My gosh, I just marvel at Judy's ambition.
She is always outside doing "stuff". And I
never just pass by her FB posts. They always
draw me in. Her pictures are always so
amazing and interesting. These first two
pictures are top notch. Maybe if I ever build
up my stamina after this horrible pandemic, I
can join her some day. Thanks, Judy. You're
such an inspiration.
