While on her way to work, recently, Stacy Flood spotted this fisherman in the fog and was compelled to stop and capture these images. Someone commented on her photos, saying that she takes photographs the same way Stacey does, stopping to snap a shot if it moves her soul. Chances are when you do so, it’s going to move others when they view the photos, also. I like how the small boat and fisherman look almost like a silhouette against the foggy background, which adds a layer of mystery to the scene.
Just down the road a bit further, the sun was breaking through the fog, making it disappear as quickly as it had come, leaving beautiful blue morning sky and rays reaching down to touch the ground. What a great way to start any day.
From In The Keweenaw we view the fog rolling in over Copper Harbor as the Isle Royale Queen leaves the Harbor and actually disappears into the eerie bank of fog.
