Brandi Archambeau and two of her kids had an adventure in Marquette, hiking UP Sugarloaf Mountain. She said they had so much fun just being together and once they got to the top, oh boy, the view was outstanding. Her son gave her a bit of a scare when he sat on the railing, but after begging him to get down, he complied and she could relax once again. Oh to be young and have no fear. The vista from UP there is truly something else...it looks like you can see forever. Luckily it was a nice clear day, so that 1000 feet above sea level view was at its finest.
The last photo is shared here today by Jean Dessellier, in memory and in honor of those who lost their lives 20 years ago, those who were injured, those who lost loved ones and those who stepped up to help when disaster struck. Today’s video is well worth the 12 minutes it takes to watch and learn about the Boatlift that rescued nearly 500,000 civilians from Manhattan by boat, in less than 9 hours that day. It is the largest sea evacuation in history. We Remember... Never Forget
