Walter Dennis continues to impress with his drone skills and the photos that he shares along with them. This visit to the Sand Point Lighthouse near Baraga is one of his recent excursions, flying over and zooming in on the well kept Lighthouse for a look see.
From what I could find, the Lighthouse is no longer in operation and is privately owned by the Keweenaw Bay Indian Community and part of their Ojibwa Recreation Area, which includes a campground. The Lighthouse Keepers dwelling has been restored to its original design, but is not open to the public, although visitors are welcome to visit the grounds.
Today’s video completes our virtual visit to this historic Lighthouse, with looks at it from all angles and a short flight over Keweenaw Bay, too.

Thank you for this post!
Last i knew this lighthouse wasn't accessible; glad the Community has changed that. Interesting they painted the 1st floor red - the brick must have been deteriorating.
As always, enjoyed the excellent vid by Walter!
