We’ve featured blooms from Gladys Collins, West Ishpeming yard before, but it seems that she just may have a “green” thumb, especially when it comes to flowers. Glady starts us off today with a bed of Primroses. Then next in the lineup, is a colorful beauty called Sweet Williams. I absolutely love all the shades in this one and how it forms it’s own little bouquet.

The third photo is an old time favorite. Who doesn’t love a daisy? I’m betting there aren’t too many folks that haven’t taken one of these and begun pulling off petal after petal, saying he/she loves me, he/she loves me not. And admit it now, it was always a thrill when the petals ended with, ‘he loves me’!

This brings us to Gladys final flower shot. I have no clue what the name of this flower is, but check out the bee or wasp zeroing in on the lavendar beauty. I bet it tasted as sweet as it looks, here.

Douglas Feltman made this “Earth, Water, Flowers video and even gives us a list of what flowers are featured at what time in the video: 00:00 Prairie Smoke 00:23 Anemone 00:42 Apple Tree Blossoms 00:56 Ornamental Bush 01:04 Violets 01:08 Wild Columbine Unknown field flower 01:36 Marsh Marigold 01:42 Anemone 01:56 Lupines. Enjoy this virtual bouquet!

Sweetie, sweetie pix and what an intensely insane video.
"Do not forget" to full screen it. "Do not forget" or else or I will smite thee.

Love the flowers, especially the video.

I enlisted some help from web plant and flower identifier apps for the "unknown wild flower". The app's best guess was "Winter-cress, yellow rocket" (odds of 1.9 out of 5). It's second guess was "American yellowrocket" (0.9 out of 5).

My untrained eye has to go with door #2 and say it's "American yellowrocket".

Can't go wrong with pictures of flowers. I
thought the 2nd one was a dianthus. I bought
one like that and the card read dianthus. I'm
going to have to investigate now. Nice catch
with the new. Great pictures and video.
