I keep hearing more and more about folks enjoying the sport of Paddle Boarding. E. Neil Harri captured a couple folks on their boards from the air recently. They sure look tiny out there on Lake Superior and just look at the crystal clear water of the Big Lake surrounding them. Even after having lived near Superior my whole life, it still amazes me how far below you can clearly see into the waters of this Lake.

Today’s video is a bit longer, but it’s worth a watch to see “The Seasoned Surfer” do some SUP (Stand UP Paddle Boarding) Touring right there in Copper Harbor just last month.

They were wise to paddle under such calm conditions!

Where the heck is that, relative to Copper Harbor, exactly? It looks more like Isle Royale!
