We visited Marquette on Tuesday and we’re back there again today. This time with Chad Johnson, looking down North/South Front Street. I’ve always loved the building with the clock tower and Chad managed to capture it with the light just right that it stands out so well. What building is that, can someone help me out here?
Chad’s next shot was snapped at the Mattson Lower Harbor Park. Another evening shot with the color contrasts so bright and vivid. What a beautiful spot to take a walk and relax. The skyline is quite interesting, also, with the varied roof lines and steeples again. Thanks for the tour, Chad.
Today’s video excursion is also in Marquette, we join Dave Poirier back in 2013, for a look at a Living Statue event back then and the arrival of the Tall Ships in the Harbor. The video was published by ThunderVideo and they described it saying, “Delightful. Distinctive. Superior. Downtown Marquette.”

Exquisite pix and the video was very interesting. However, I found an irresistible urge to walk up to a living statue and making he/she crack up...perhaps by making a strange noise, utilizing my hand and armpit.

Mary,
That's the Savings Bank Building and it's on the National Register of Historic Places: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Savings_Bank_Building
It's always been one of my favorites too!
