Bob Gilreath and his camera have been quite busy lately. He’s been seeing a number of different birds at his feeders. Some that are not as common as the usual feathered friends we get here in the Keweenaw. One he recently captured a shot of is a Scarlet Tanager. What a beauty this one is, with the bright red feathers. Another Bob snapped, is an Indigo Bunting. So blue, these birds really stand out at the feeders for sure. All the beautiful colors are definitely a welcome sight here UP North.
Our video today features a Scarlet Tanager, with the bonus of being able to hear this pretty bird sing, too. Enjoy the sights and sounds!
