As soon as I saw Barbara Bouwkamp’s frosted window panes, I thought of the Christmas Waltz song, sung by Frank Sinatra and also later by the Carpenters, that starts out with that line. Barbara snapped some beauties of Jack Frost’s handiwork. Always unique and never duplicated, the frosted window panes are one of a kind artistry, so when you see them, this is your reminder to slow down and enjoy the beauty, as it won’t be there long. That’s something I need to do more often, slow down and absorb the beauty around me, instead of racing from one thing to another.
Cody McClellan is helping us to slow down today, too, with a look at the Eben Ice Caves, just outside of Marquette near the small town of Eben Junction. If you’re planning on making a visit there, Pure Michigan has some tips so you can be prepared and know what to expect. Click here for: 4 Tips for Exploring the Eben Ice Caves

These are beautiful! That never happens to our windows, which I guess is a good thing. But I always loved looking at the frosted windows.

Natural artistic beauty that makes me wax lyrical;
“Since we can no longer see the light The way we did when we kissed that night Then all the things that we felt Must eventually melt and fade Like the frost on my window pane Where I wrote, "I. M. U." (I Miss You) On Second Avenue.” (Art Garfunkel)
N-ice video too that will also eventually melt and fade.

Beautiful artwork by Mother Nature, thanks Barbara.
Sunset Bay Campground has a web camera that often "frosts" over. I created a video montage that includes a clear view of recent ice shelves, a nighttime view of Elon Musk's StarLink satellites that appear to shoot across the sky, and then some interesting "frosty" views with one that reminded me of a Vincent Van Gogh painting. Lastly, the proprietor of the campground decided to clean off the camera lens.
Thanks. D. A., good video. I liked the individual who was using a feather to clean the lens. That’s UP ingenuity.

At first I thought a piece of bark, but I think you're right Alex.
The StarLink satellites remind me of a couple of old school video games. "Centipedes" comes to mind.
