We join 906 Images and his daughter, at Presque Isle Park in Marquette, for an early morning sunrise. He said it was so calm and peaceful and the water so clear it looked like glass, but the next day it was a different story as the North Gales were blowing in.

The bottom two photos were what 906 Images called Lake Superior Kryptonite (a.k.a beach glass) and said that he’s going to dabble into Macro photography. I like his dabbling so far...but I’m a little concerned about the Kryptonite, which is a fictional green, crystalline material from Superman’s home world of Krypton and it emits poisonous radiation that can weaken and kill Kryptonians. But since I don’t know any Kryptonians, I guess my concern is a bit unfounded. And besides, I’m sure Lake Superior can deactivate that fictional material and just leave the pretty green beach glass in its place. So I think we can all rest easy.

I mentioned that the day after the calm sunrise, the North Gales were blowing in and blow in they did. 906 Images was there on hand recording a video to show us the contrast of the calm and the wild Lake Superior. Make sure you turn up your volume to hear the Big Lake roar.

Happy Thanksgiving to all our Pasty Cam family! Make sure you take some time to remember what you’re thankful for.

Happy Thanksgiving, pasty friends.
These pictures are so calming, and
perfect for realizing how much we
have to be grateful for. We woke
up, have food on our table and a
roof over our heads. We can't ask
for much more.

I'll be spending Thanksgiving at
the hospital with my mom. She's
been there since Sunday and, at
94, it's taking her a while to
improve. But gradually she is. And
I have that to be grateful for.
And I have you, my pasty friends,
to be grateful for also.

May your stuffing be tasty
May your turkey be plump
May your potatoes and gravy
Have nary a lump
May your yams be delicious
And your pies take the prize
And may your Thanksgiving dinner
Stay off of your thighs.

Author unknown to me. Go Lions!!

What a great set to be thankful for!
Quite the contrast between the pix
and the video.
And a “Happy Thanksgiving” to all of
the Pasty family members!!!
May you and yours enjoy this special day.
But, keep in mind;
if you gobble-gobble-gobble,
your thighs will wobble-wobble-wobble.

Hi
Happy Thanksgiving to all. Due to family scheduling
conflicts, I'm having the big dinner tomorrow at my
sister-in-law's.

Beach glass (we called 'em glass stones) are one of
my favorites to find.
