The Pasty Cam
November 28 - December 4, 1999
Saturday, December 4

Pasty Cam did a little Christmas shopping in Houghton last night, thought you might like to see the lights

All decked out for the season, but where's the snow?

Second shift waiting in the wings.  Quite a nice view here from the bench.  In the Armory at Calumet. (The girls of Center Ice.)

Last season we marvelled at the skill of the Zamboni man.

Thursday, December 2

Snow melted away overnight, nice day for a walk along the beach, though a little blustery.  This stretch used to be sandy, but now covered with rocks and driftwood.

Looking toward Five Mile Point.

A new month arrives on a cold night in the Copper Country, warmed by the glow of a Pasty Cam request.

...and the big picture reveals the first Christmas lights of the season.

Monday, November 29

Overcast in the Keweenaw, some snow.  Looks like it may stay this time for the duration.  Let's take a drive by the new Portage Health System complex in Hancock.

Slated to open early in 2000.

Just one more sight before we leave Central Mine (see last week's Pasty Cam)... This has probably been our most requested church.

Here's some interesting history from Jim Curto, who also has a great pasty recipe :o).
