Nature hikes and grandkids, it doesn’t get much better than that. Debbie Jarve recently did some exploring on the trails at McLain State Park, with several of her grandchildren. She said when they got there, one of the kids pulled out her backpack and gave each of them a small piece of paper with their names on and a list of the things they had to find while exploring the trails. Now, how fun is that? Her granddaughter is very interested in the outdoors and Debbie “feeds” that interest quite often, taking them on adventures like this with her. And the greatest treasure she finds is the time spent with her grandchildren, as they’re all so special in their own ways.
