When 906 Images posted these photos of kayakers and a surfer, he said, “...no kayaking in that weather for me, I just take the pics, ha, ha”. I’d be on the shore right there with him, as my idea of kayaking is nice calm, flat water. But oh boy, these folks have some real SISU to be out there on Lake Superior with waves like that. I bet they’re also the folks that go over waterfalls and kayak down rapids, too. More power to them, but on dry ground is my choice when the Big Lake is stirred UP like that.

906 Images also recorded a short video on a different, but similar day. He said, “Perfect day for a kayak on Lake Superior in Marquette, Michigan, at least he has a wet suit on. It was 25-35 mph with higher wind gusts. Yikes!

some fun to be had out there, but I’ll just watch
the cool pix and video instead.

understatement) pictures, and it
does look like fun. But nope.
That's way too cold for me.

Me either. Discovering, the other night, had a
paraplegic that took a couple of years to paddle
around Lake Superior. He had two friends with him.
When he was talking about going through waves like
this....holy wha...he's an amazing man.

Great pics! Being Friday I was thinking that could
be Jeff but where the heck is Fritz!! I know Fritz
hangs out on the front but Holy Smokes!! Okay, calm
down these guys have wet suits on, and I don't think
Jeff and Fritz would be out in that weather lol.
