Judy Byykkonen spends quite a bit of time on the shores of Lake Superior, one of her favorites places to be, whether it’s cold or not. She recently captured these photos on a beautiful evening with the sun going down. The way the light is shining on the waves and water is outstanding, but check out the sun ray shining down from above in that second photo...so beautiful like it’s touching the water. No wonder she enjoys coming here so much, the beauty is never-ending.

We join MI Playground in Iron Mountain at the Pine Mountain Continental Cup Ski Jumping event. This is an annual event that brings athletes from around the world for the world class competition here in the U.P. of Michigan. Nick and Brian said the fans in attendance are enthusiastic and have quite the elaborate tailgating set ups for the weekend. Check it out...

Hey, Deb, how is Ron doing?

I'm in agreement with the 2nd shot, though I
really like them all.

Jbuck, Ron's coming along. He said he's amazed at
how little pain there is. That will change after
serious pt starts. They're doing a little to get
him started here at home. I think it's next Friday
that he goes to them. He's got 6 weeks of not
being able to do any lifting at all. That is
really hard on him. Sleeping at night isn't easy,
having to stay pretty much in one position. But he
naps during the day, so that helps. Thank you for
asking.

Beautiful pics and yes that second pic is my
favorite. Following what Nick is up to is always
interesting.

Deb, please pass on to Ron, that I hope he has a
quick recovery and is back to 100% very soon and
good luck in PT.

Today was a good day for me. Was able to get out
to a doctor's appt. and finally get my haircut.
Taking it slow, but Covid seems to be releasing
it's grip on my recovery. I have Cardiology appts.
coming up for the rest of the month. Hoping I get
all cleared there and can get on with living. lol
