When Fritz decides it’s a good day to go kayaking, there’s no changing his mind. Even in November, Jeff Dennis, his wife Chris and their four legged kid, Fritz are out there on a calm, Lake Superior day. They paddled along the shoreline out at Louis Point between Big Traverse and Little Traverse. Jeff assured me that they’re always watching the waves, they stay close to shore when out there and you can see that both Jeff and Fritz are dressed for the colder weather. Their biggest trouble this time of year, is that the days are getting too short. He said they aren’t ready to quit for the year yet, so who knows, maybe we’ll see them kayak in December, too.

Jeff recorded a short video showing the calm waters, the sun going down and the rocky cliffs around them. Fritz seemed to be singing... I wonder if he was thinking about jumping in the water again, like he did in the video with the ducks! But I’m sure Jeff keeps a shorter leash on him for these colder days.

Lucky fritz! Who can believe this weather we're
having? And the water looked beautiful that day.
Really nice shots. Fritz sounded like he wanted to
jump in during the video.

Ron took advantage of the nice weather by putting
Christmas lights outside. No freezing the fingers
this year. We haven't turned them on though.
That'll happen after Thanksgiving. Nice when
Mother Nature cooperates like this. Cold today,
though. Maybe the nice weather is done.
