Debbie Jarve recently took a walk at Swedetown and along the way she found some beautiful flowers including a wild rose and lupines with busy bees on them. Then a bouquet of what I think are Northern Blue Flag Iris. I just love all the flowers that are blooming this time of year.
The last three photos are more about the evidence of critters Debbie encountered... an unidentified dragon fly and its shadow. Then a heart shaped turtle hole where eggs were laid and a hatched turtle egg, pretty neat. How fun it would have been to watch that baby turtle hatch. Nature is quite enthralling when you stop and think about it.
Nick and Andy from MI Playground are at it again, this time in the southern Keweenaw Peninsula where they paddle on Portage Lake in Chassell and then head into the Sturgeon River, too. On the lead-in to the video, the guys stated “Luckily, we will never run out of places to have fun all throughout the Keweenaw Peninsula!” Thanks for the reminder that we all need to get out there and enjoy it.

These are wonderful. I just love seeing those bumble bees in the flowers. I think they're so pretty. And I love the dragonflies whirling around my head eating those darn gnats. Beautiful all the way around.
